He then attended Marshall High School where he was a 4 sport Varsity athlete, playing football, basketball, lacrosse, and running track. After his high school years, Markel then took a prep year at Midwestern Prep in Illinois. “There have been a lot of people in my life who’ve helped me get to this point and it’s only right that I continue to do the same for others. I look forward to passing the torch to the next generation of athletes. I’m extremely grateful to have the opportunity to train with all of the athletes and assist them in their athletic goals. I also want to give these athletes a different perspective on the next level from someone who just went through it. Being an athlete is not all about your performance on the field. You must be strong mentally as well and I want to give these athletes all the tools needed to combat anything they may face in their playing careers and in life.”
